I need to send mail with notification with E-mail template.

I can able to send the mail without E-mail template with using Outlookemail class in AX 2012

I want to send mail to any type(like gmail, ymail, live.com).

I need to know how to configure the email parameters.

there many ways for sending e-mail through ax  but it depends in your business needs :-
    for example

    1. if you need an email notification send to you when ever date due happen or change in a record happen you can use the alert rule follow this link
    2. if you need to send automatic mail notification you should customize these by using a runbasebatch class that have method execute periodically to notify you with some thing for more inforamation about how to send mail through x++ follow this link
    3. if you need also to send e-mail through x++ and make these mail use specific emial template you can follow these link

i hope the above points helps you

    Hi

If you want to send out mail using X++ the best class to look for an example of how to do it is the EventNotificationWorkflow class. Look in the sendMail method itself. This code illustrates both the templating as well as the email queue functionality.

    Hi,

    Thanks for your reply...

    I tried the 2 option.

    http://msdaxerp.wordpress.com/2013/01/07/sending-mail-through-x/

But i got the below error:

"Method 'send' in COM object of class 'CDO.Message' returned error code 0x80040213 (<unknown>) which means: The transport failed to connect to the server."

Please help to solve the issues.

    Regards,

    Kanagaraj A
