Project - Copy Forecast Item to Ledger

Hi all,

I am trying to copy project forecast to ledger.

For Hours, and Expense type I have been successfully copy it to budget register.

But for Item type it cannot be copied to budget register.

After I checked the type for item ledger is "Never Ledger".

Is there anyways so I can make the amount of item forecast in the project to be able to copied to budget register?

    On the item's setup, is the "Non-stocked product" box checked on the Item model group? I've found this box doesn't play nice with Project budgets. Try a different item.

    Hi Joel,

    You are right. The item I use is non-stocked product. I gues then forecast item in project cannot use the non-stock product. Otherwise the ledger and amount won't be generated.

    But actually I need this transaction, because cost which come from PO can only be set in "Item" forecast, isn't it? And cost which come to project do not always "stocked item" for example like services, and etc.

    Is there anyway I could plan the forecast for project expenses and then use PO to record the actual cost?
