    Hello RashidiRad,

    Your question is very general.

Can you elaborate and possibly provide an example what you refer to exactly?

    Many thanks,

    Ludwig

    Hello RashidiRad,

Unfortunately, I do not fully understand your question. Therefore, some comments/notes that hopefully help you getting around:

    1. From a system perspective, you can find some information on the travel and expense module in AX2012 here: docs.microsoft.com/.../travel-and-expense. Please review this and the related pages to get an overview of what functionalities are supported in this module.

    2. From a theoretical perspective, there is a difference in the terms expense and costs. That is 'expenses' do not necessarily a direct relationship to the operational business of a company while 'costs' have. As an example, if you take BMW - the car producing company - and take the money spent for an internal HR meeting then the money spent for that meeting is called an expense but not a cost because costs are directly related to the main business purpose; the production of cars.

Hope this helps answering your question.

    Best regards,

    Ludwig
