Not able to itemize expense in Expense Management Mobile app

Hi,

I have created a new expense for Hotel expense category where Itemization is setup as mandatory. I can see the itemization option in web application, however when I open the same expense in mobile app, I do not see the 'itemize expense' button.

Microsoft Learn documentation mentioned that there must be 'Itemize expenses' button.

Can someone guide what I am missing.

Im also looking for an answer for this, same with the "Add guest" feature that should be possible in the app, but is not, i want to know what MS POV on this is

I faced the same issue and managed to resolve it by enabling the following feature:

Ability to itemize recurring expenses quickly

This will then give the option to itemize the expense in the expense app.

Hi,

Yes, I raised a support ticket to Microsoft regarding this issue and they have upgraded the mobile app so that itemize expense functionality works on mobile app by enabling this feature (Ability to itemize recurring expenses quickly). Ideally, Itemize expense functionality should be working without using this feature since this feature is for recurring expenses.

Hello, I have a related problem.

I have enabled the feature and now the itemize expense button shows up in the mobile app, as it should. the problem is, that is always disabled. We have tried all combinations of data, reinstalled the app and so on, but the itemize button is always disabled (while it works fine on the desktop).

Any idea what that could be?
