Once you undo the shipment, system will automatically adjust your sales order quantity and it will be available for an another shipment. If the address is correct you can correct it in the sales order level and do the shipment again.

Thank you very much. So if we use pick ticket for warehouse people to prepare the package, we can't undo the shipment, right? And undo the shipment can only correct the quantity? What if the shipping address is wrong in the printed shipping label and I need to void the shipment and re-print a correct label?

Hi, Refer below link on how to undo a shipment : https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/hh173655%28v=nav.90%29.aspx?f=255&MSPPError=-2147217396

    1. In the Search box, enter Posted Sales Shipments, and then choose the related link.
    2. Open the relevant posted sales shipment, and select the line or lines you want to correct.
    3. On the Lines FastTab, choose ActionsAction Menu icon, choose Functions, and then choose Undo Shipment.
    4. Go back to the sales order, and on the Process tab, in the Release group, choose Reopen to reopen it.
    5. Correct the entry in the Quantity field and post the order. If the order is to be shipped through a warehouse shipment, then create and post a new warehouse shipment.

If the document is already been invoiced you will not be able to use the undo shipment.

    Hi,

If the Sales Order is still available in Sales Orders list, you may very well undo the shipment, and re post it.  If the Order is completely Invoiced and deleted from the system, there is no way to retrieve it.

    MMV

Hi, I recently ship a order via fedex and closed the order after creating a standard fedex label. I was wondering if I can reopen the sales order to reship the order? I want to start over with the same order to ship out

    Hi,

What are these Shipping Labels?  Are those customized?

What do you mean by closed orders? Do you mean Sales Orders and posted completely?

    Best Regards,

    MMV
