Form capture transition advice

Wave 1 2024 updates will include form capture scripts for RTM forms. My understanding based on how forms work between OBM and RTM is that new scripts will need to be deployed to web pages using the OBM script. Any advice on how to transition these seamlessly with little to no data loss?

Form capture transition advice

Hi,

That is correct understanding, the existing form capture scripts in your page will need to be replaced with the new RTM form capture scripts.
Suggestion for seamless transition:

1. Create the new RTM form and get the form capture script. Preview: Capture forms in Customer Insights - Journeys - Dynamics 365 Customer Insights | Microsoft Learn

2. Embed the script into a testing page to check if the data is collected correctly.

3. Replace the old script with he new one.
