Microsoft SQL Server integration services are missing AX 2012 R2 CU7 DIXF Component Installation

Hi , 

We are on AX 2012 r2 cu9. We are trying to install dixf components on a new sql server.

We found this blog and downloaded the cu7 hotfix package and we are trying to install the dixf components. But when i click on Service component - it says : " Microsoft sql server integration services are missing". 

When i checked the services in that server, i can clearly see the Integration services are running. 

Any suggestions what to do ?

    Hello,

    After installing CU7 you have to install  KB3018235.

    That's right from the blog i mentioned. But when i am trying to install dixf service component from CU7 setup, i am not able to select service component to install.. it says SQL integration services are missing even though i can see SQL integration services are running in services.

    So i would like to know what to do now.??

    One other thing is when we try to download the KB3018235, it says page not available. Microsoft stopped that hotfix availability i guess as it's ax 2012 r2. So we are not sure how can we get that.

    I agree, I am facing the exact same issue, and we just decided not to install DIXF since it is out of support.

    We need DIXF as we do many loads with that.

    We created a Microsoft Support ticket and they gave us a new KB4465169 hotfix file. When we try to install DIXF components with this KB4465169, it allowed us to move forward with DIXF Component installation. It didn't give us error that Microsoft Sql integration services are missing.

    Conclusion:  With KB4465169, we are able to Install AX 2012 r2 cu9 DIXF Components for SQL Server 2014 sp2, SQL integration services 12.0

    Hello,

    I am facing the same issue however with SQL Server 2016 (Integration Services) installed.
    With the latest kernel build for AX 2012 R2 we can still not install the DIXF Service.

    Any idea how to fix this ?

    Or perhaps we need to install SQL Server 2014 IS side-by-side with SQL Server 2016 and use that version ?

    Hope you can help me out here.

    Can you create a new question on the Dynamics AX forum and provide some more background information? E.g. are you missing setup files or do you have pre-requisite issues or setup errors?
