Fixed Asset - Book/Class setup

Had a GP2018 question and am not ire n a position to really troubleshoot. Under the Fixed Asset Book/Class setup is the original life just a default for new assets or will a change affect previously entered items. Please advise. Look forward to a response.

Hello LongtimeGPandSL,

Changes to the Fixed Assets Book setup will not roll down changes. The changes to the Book Class window will only use the new data on new assets going forward.
