Trying to setup a Customer Journey for Events, where an anonymous person registers (created a Contact/Lead) and is assigned to an Event that has multiple sessions in a day. But we run 'standalone' webinars to delivery product specific content to attendees. So trying to design an email that will have the Event as a whole, then only the specific session(s) they might have registered for on that day.
Event: 10:00 - 14:00
Session 1: 10:00-10:30
Session 2: 11:30 - 12:00
Session 3: 13:30 - 14:00
So a person registers only for the 11:30-12:00 session, they get an email with the overall email name, and then a link to the webinar that is only for their session and a ICS file that has that session only/webinar invite and the contents of the email lists the registered events.
This is also need to be as dynamic as possible so can be used for the 30+ a week sessions we'd run. Baring Outlook limitations, and session details being 3+ steps down from a contact, what solutions for this 'basic' Event Management process?
Unable to hard code the link for a "Join in Teams" + sessions as it's hard coded to a single session and not dynamic for that person. Creating a list of session links would be an option, but unsure how to achieve this based on step limits for dynamic content.
I would think this would be the most basic and fundamental process for any Event Management solution? Any assistance for those that have implemented a similar solution would be great.
Thanks in advance,
Hi,
If you'd like to show the registration sessions in Marketing email with dynamic content, it cannot be done.
