Ledger generate for consolidation

Hi,

After I run "Run consolidation", there's just a report be opened but there's no ledger be generated which moving all ledgers from be-consolidated company to consolidated company.

By out-of-box function, will a overall ledger be generated in both companies for consolidation action?

    No consolidation entries are created in the originating company.

    There is export from company A and then import into company B.

    Thanks Dallefeld for reply.

    For example, if company A has:

    Ledger 1, amount: $50

    Ledger 2, amount: $10

    Ledger 3, amount: $20

    If a consolidation is done from company A into company B, then:

    No change on company A.

    And above 3 ledger will only be import to company B if we do a export/import action?

    No entries in company A.

    For company B, if the above three entries are 100% consolidated and are all in the same GL account, you get one consolidated entry for $80
