I'm in the process of integrating a telephony system with Dynamics 365 Sales and have several specific inquiries about handling call recordings and other call-related functionalities via the API.
Call Recordings in /Call Summary/: I understand how to create and update phone call records using the API, but I'm looking to extend this functionality to include the uploading of call recordings. I've noticed that there's a section for call recordings and transcripts in the /Call Summary/. Additionally, there appears to be an option to add a /Recordings/ tab. Could anyone clarify if the /Recordings/ tab is related to or the same as the recording in the /Call Summary/? Also, how can I upload call recordings through the API?
Phone Call Notifications: Is there a standard way to notify about phone calls within Dynamics 365 or via the API? I am looking for a method to automate notifications when certain call-related events occur.
Click-to-Call Functionality: Is it possible to implement click-to-call functionality in Dynamics 365? If so, can this functionality be customized via JavaScript or another method to fit specific requirements? In case it's not a standard feature, has anyone had success in creating this functionality through customizations or using the API?
I appreciate any documentation, code samples, or shared experiences related to these functionalities. My goal is to perform these integrations and customizations primarily using the API.
