CRM SMS integration issue.

Hello dear community,

I have recently integrated the SMS functionality into the CRM, specifically for sales and DFM. However, I've noticed that the SMS icon is not appearing on the contact form, particularly in the phone number column. Additionally, I can't seem to find the SMS option in the activities section as it appears for appointments and phone calls.

Is there a specific parameter that needs to be activated to enable these features?

On the bright side, I can send SMS from DFM, and it's working perfectly. The only challenge is that I'm unable to send SMS directly from a contact form.

Your assistance in resolving this matter would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

    Hi,
It sounds like you're facing some challenges with fully integrating SMS functionality into your CRM for seamless usage, especially from the contact form. While your current setup allows you to send SMS via DFM, not having the SMS option directly available on the contact form or in the activities section can limit your productivity and ease of use.
To address this issue you can use TextSMS4Dynamics by Inogic, an advanced Text SMS integration app designed specifically for Dynamics 365 CRM. This solution not only supports sending and receiving SMS directly from various entities, including the Contact form but also ensures that the SMS option is visible and easily accessible.
Here’s how TextSMS4Dynamics can address your concerns:
Seamless Integration with Contact Forms: The SMS icon appears directly in the contact form, enabling you to send SMS with just a few clicks.
Activity Tracking: SMS activities are recorded in the CRM just like phone calls and appointments, giving you a centralized view of all interactions.
Map CRM Records: Identifies CRM records (of any type configured during the setup) and maps them to incoming messages based on their mobile numbers.
Ease of Use: No need for complex parameter setups—it works out of the box with easy configuration options.
Enhanced Features: Schedule SMS, send bulk messages, get instant notification of incoming messages, or even set up automated workflows to trigger SMS notifications.
It’s a perfect fit for your requirements. You can learn more about TextSMS4Dynamics or request a demo to see how it can simplify SMS communication within your CRM.
You can download the app from Inogic Website or Microsoft Appsource to start your 15-day trial.
Feel free to reach out to us at crm@inogic.com if you need further assistance in setting this up for your business requirements!

    Hope this helps.
