I do have work order form and it got relation with booking form. I want to get some fields from work order form to booking. I have one extra form on Work order form and i want to embed this form in booking form. How do i do that.
Quick create form will not allow me to edit the fields so i cant use that, i have seen that by few forms are included in booking from work order, i want to figure it out, how? so that i can use this functionality.

It's like create a main form in work order form and then include this in booking by custom control. Has anyone has any idea which custom control to use and where to find it?

I have the same question (0)

    Hi Ravi,

If the relationship between Entity A and Entity B is 1:N, then we can insert a quick view form of Entity A on the Entity B form, or insert a sub-grid of Entity B on the Entity A form.

you can create same fields on work order and booking form, then using a workflow to bind two entities through fields.

The way it is done is  taken a look up field of work order in booking form and to that field they created as custom control and in that control thy did pass the form id(this form id is the id of one of the main form created in work order entity), I want to do this, I want to know how they build up that sort of custom control

The Form Component Control is a very new Custom Control provided just recently directly by Microsoft. Up to now only the Out of the Box version of it, which is available via the new Field Service Mobile model driven app is available / working.

Until today it is not possible to use the Custom Control to embed a custom form into another form.

However you can add/remove fields to the embedded Work Order form by editing the WO form that MS has used/linked here.

    See here how:
