Changing the Contracting Unit on contract and project

Hi there,

one of my colleagues has chosen the wrong contracting unit on a quote and set it to won. 

Now the Project Contract and the Project has the wrong contracting unit as well.

When I try to change the unit on at the Project Contract I got this error: 

The Contracting Unit of a Project Contract cannot be changed.

 Is there any option to change this value at this stage?

    Hi Chris DW. Intended behavior is that the contracting unit locks on a won quote so that all the background logic works properly. You need to create a new project contract and project.

    I know it late, but posting this answer:
     
    1) Find this plugin 'Project Service - Pre validate of dates on update of msdyn_project' from Plugin registration tool:
     
    Remove the field Contracting Unit from the list of fields this plugin is running.
     
     
    Then change the contracting unit for the desired Projects and then enable this field again on the Plugin.
