Can anyone explain the usage of user input parameters step by step in a detailed manner.

Hi Pranavtejak,
When you want to create a config in Electronic reporting, you have the possibility to design user input parameters that you can bind them to the model mapping that your configuration working with.
For example for model mapping "Payment model mapping to destination ISO20022" there is some user input parameters that are designed to import payment file. For one of the them, there is a field that is related to customer table that will be used for import of Error account customer.
In the model mapping, there is a formula that if the customer cannot be recognized in D365FO, it will used this field as customer ID.

Thanks Alireza Eshaghzadeh. This reply answered my question. Can you also explain "Edit visibility", as I need lookup to only show customers starting with 8. I know that we can filter in the lookup upon executing, but how to filter it in the code itself.
'User input parameter' data source properties does not usually works with formula. Mostly you need to add formula for "Calculated field".
I need to test how it can be added.
