When exporting Customer List from NAV 2015 to Excel 2010, I get a blank spreadsheet. Worked fine with ANV 2013 but since installing NAV 2015 no longer works.

Hi Steve,
NAV 70 uses OpenXml as an add-in (C:\Program Files\Microsoft Dynamics NAV\70\Service\Add-ins\OpenXML). From NAV 71, OpenXml is integrated directly (C:\Program Files\Microsoft Dynamics NAV\71\Service).
Is there any data in table Send-To Program (2000000065) and Style Sheet (2000000066)?
For other tool besides standard export function, you can export Customer List or any List by our Query and Excel Report (community.dynamics.com/.../134939.aspx). Would you like to make an evaluation on NAV80?
Hi Steve,
It is available in your installation setup. Run the setup and go to add remove component and select the excel add in under the client option.
If add in is already install then remove it first and then reinstall it.

re-install (remove & new install after restart) the addin by the dynamics nav setup. the component should be (un)selectable. try add/remove components.
I can't find anything to run relating to Excel in the NAV 2015 RTC folder - only dlls which won't run on their own. Or is there an app to make them run?
Hi Steve,
Can you uninstall add in and reinstall it?

Saurabh Shah
Dynamics NAV add-in is there but refers to the "70" folder which is NAV 2013 (although as noted above, can't export direct to Excel from NAV 2013 either).
I suggest to re-install the Excel Add-in, since as far as I understood you performed a NAV upgrade and the problem can be related to the fact that you are still using the NAV 2013 add-in.
Not sure about NAV 2015, but I think it could be done running the Microsoft.Dynamics.Nav.ExcelAddin from Role Tailored Client folder.
Hi,
Please check that you have a "Dynamics NAV" menu available in menu bar (Ribbon) of Excel. There is an add-in which needs to install in excel with administrative rights.
Steps 1:
Check that add-in is available in excel so we can install straight away.
Go to File --> Option --> Add-ins --> Manage --> COM Add-ins --> GO --> select Microsoft Dynamics NAV Add-in --> Press OK
Make sure that you have administrative rights
Step 2:
If you do not find add in then run the Dynamics NAV installation package and add the excel integration component and follow above step again.

thats not new. there are some issues betweens nav 2013 and 2015 when installing them side by side. :-|
workaround: copy the lines in the customer list with select lines/copy row(s). then copy them to excel. to get all columns make them visible in the customer list.
Hi Jonathan,
Thanks for the quick response. I'm using Office professional Plus 64 bit and it worked perfectly with NAV2013. I've installed NAV2015 alongside NAV2013 and now NAV won't send to Excel from either version. Frustrating. Steve M
