I am looking to change the set calendar from hourly to day but haven't been able to do so in system organisation. Can someone help me out, please ?

Below is the default setup for Calendar. You can create as per your requirement.
I am not sure whether you want to change on Leave and absence parameter. If so then you can change here.

I've tried to change the leave and absence parameters from hours to day and set up the half-day authorisation. However, it's as if the field is locked on hours. I can't seem to be able to change it.
We're currently testing how to set up D365HR with free licences for a month. Is that the cause of the problem or is there another way to switch from hourly to daily ?

Hello Nina,
It seems there are transactions in the system already which are restricting the change. You can only change or switch back to days till the time there aren't any leave requests. Otherwise it's quite a hassle to delete records from relevant tables/ entities.
