AX 2012 Supplier Invoice Journal Calculated VAT Amounts Blank

Hi,

I have a Supplier Invoice journal with 1614 lines posted in production however 150 lines had VAT calculated. 1465 lines have not had the VAT calculated. All the lines are using the same VAT group and item group. See screenshot below.

I have imported the same journal into Test and all lines have calculated VAT amount. I'm not sure why or how this has happened in Production, can anyone advice?

Hello ShayA, I have seen something alike that was caused by a old system version and missing rollups/hotfixes implemented. What AX2012 version do you run? Have you checked LCS for available hotfixes? Ludwig

Hi Ludwig, I have attached the version below. It is AX2012 R3 RTM.

This doesn't happen all the time and maybe have happened a couple of times only.

Would you be able to point out the relevant hotfix that I could look into please? Many thanks.

    Hello ShayA,

Puh. You basically missed the CU's 8,9,10 and 11. I can thus only guess what might be the right applicable hotfix. Probably, have a look at the following:

KB 3167319Missing sales tax transactions in general Journal

KB 2938754Breakdown of voucher form does not calculate sales tax amount

Solution 3747761Sales tax not calculated on General Journal

KB 3164140Missing sales tax transactions in general Journal

If none of them fit, please check yourself on LCS in detail.

    All the best,

    Ludwig

I was unable to find any related hotfixes for the issue I have. Not sure what I can do.

    Hello ShayA,

How do you upload the invoice information into Dynamics AX? Do you use the Excel-Addin, DIEF, or something else?

    Ludwig
