Hi,

littel question:

we have Item A stocked in Warehouse WA and WB.

When creating a inventoury counting Journal for WareHouse WA, in table "InventItemLocationCountingStatus" the item is marked for counting. So whrn i create the Journal for Warehouse  WB the item will not Show up.

How can i avoid this  ( without manualy remove the marked in the table)?

Thanks

Pirmin

    Hi Pirmin

In order to avoid this issue, you have to define the warehouse related to the items, on "Warehouse Items" form.

If you define the warehouses, AX check the InventItemLocationCountingStatus table using the proper warehouse, otherwise use the default.

    Hi Pirmin

    Yes.

However, you can create a easy job that create for each item\warehouse a record on Item warehouse table.

Also, you can trigger the item\warehouse insert event and create automatically the record on item warehouse table.

Or you can get the system to NOT set the counting started flag in the warehouse item record when a counting journal is started (You could manually untick it as well but not great for a mass count). Not as pretty a solution but I believe it used to be commenting out two lines of code (but I have a bad memory and I am not a developer).
