Narrowing the fields that show up in main filter view

Is there a way to specify what view to use when using filters from the main view page. For example, on the Work Order page, I have a view that shows the Client on the Work Order. When I filter by the Client, it shows me ALL clients, but I only want it to show me Active Clients in my business unit. Is that possible?

Why not add the owner's BU to the view column?

I need them to have access to all records for other tasks, but for this specific view, would like to narrow the lookup in the filter. Is that possible?

You can restrict at the level of security level, by setting the Read permissions at Business Unit level.

Please refer below documentation from Microsoft.
