    Hi Jacob,

When it comes to data transfer, you would have two choices. One is to transfer your entire data on servers and add customization for seamless performance. Another option is to transfer only a portion of data, whether related to accounting or inventory management, and add the necessary customization.

There are 2 different types of Upgrades - Standard and Extended.

    Jacob,

I am adding to all the replies that help give advice on performing the Upgrade from NAV 2017 to BC SaaS. First, not sure if you are doing this yourself or working with a Partner but please consider this. They have done this before. Second, being on NAV 2017, consider just moving to BC SaaS and bringing over Master Data, GL History, and Open records (Sales Order, Purchase Order, Open AR, Open AP, Outstanding Checks and Deposits for Bank Account unmatched, Open Production Orders, etc...)

I just completed a NAV 2009 and NAV 2016 and this is the approach I took.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks,

    Steve

One way is to upgrade from NAV to "BC on-prem" and then use Replication Tool from "BC on-prem" to BC Cloud.
