Dynamics AX 2012 hotfix KB 3059090

We need to apply hotfix number KB 3059090 as it appears to address a problem we are having with the system not registering serial numbers correctly. We are on AX 2012 CU8 R3. According to the documentation this hotfix is available for both R2 and R3. However, when I go to download the fix, only the R2 version is available. What do I need to do to get the hotfix for R3?

    On LCS you can find it by search. Here you go with URL for R3 version of KB

    Thank you for the link. Unforutantely that is the one I am using and it only shows the AX 2012 R2 version of the hotfix. We need the one for R3.

    I can see R3 upside in description of KB.

    Not sure where you are finding it as R2.

    By the way if you will be unable to find version R3, you can write an email to Microsoft support. you may wait  few more hours if someone else can also contribute on this thread to help you

    When I extracted the file, it is a KB for R2. I will have to see if Microsoft support can help me.
