I am trying to post invoice proposal for fixed price contract- and getting this error.
How do I resolve this.

Can you pl check what's the setup on project group. (I dont have an environment with Project setup so cant give you exact details, but it must be something with either project group setup like if its configured for profit or loss while revenue profile configured for balance.
Hi,Can you share a screenshot with the exact error message and tell what steps you performed before you got this error? What is your deployment type? Are you using Project Operations Core, F&O or both? When reviewing known error messages, the error you shared is not a standard label in Dynamics 365 F&O. It might be caused by a custom validation in your environment.
Hello, Below is the screen shot for error. In fact there is no such main account in chart of accounts. I am posting customer invoice as per my billing rule in project contract using invoice proposal in project management and accounting.
Also I have tried to change the main account linked with revenue category in the set up- but still the error is same.
the issue has been resolved. This is posting profile set up only. Thank you so much.
Hi @CU22080533-4,Thanks for your update. In between, I found the label for the error message in my standard environment. My initial search was wrong. Indeed, this error can be solved by correcting the posting configuration. I marked your reply to set the status of the question to Answered.
