Dynamics AX public preview

Hi!

Microsoft announced that the new Dynamics AX have been released  for public preview (2 dec) for both partners and customers which is great. But where can I my hands on the release? It doesn´t show up as an option in LCS och Azure. Do I need a preview code in LCS for it to work?

    great question!!! To my opinion these preview codes are only for 'non public things.

    But I think we have to wait some hours or days.

    PartnerSource login is necessary.

    As of this morning the AX7 launch portal on partnersource only shows "Public preview coming soon". It might not have been released yet.

    Hi Johan,

    As per the 2nd Dec announcement, the Public Preview will become available in 'early december'. So ideally by end of this week or early next week it should become available and an official announcement should follow as well.

    Hi!

    Since I´m not a partner but a customer I can´t access the launch portal. But as the announcement said that the public preview would be for both partners and customers there should be some kind of "launch portal" in customersource as well.

    Thanks Johan. So I agree and will reconfirm this with a couple of our customers and with MS as well.

    Otherwise, on Partnersource, it is still 'coming soon'.

    Question, the beginning of December does that translate to end December or beginning of January?

    It means before mid December (so, on or before 15th dec).  MS team has been working very hard on this release. So a few days more should be fine!
