AX 2012 R2 : Cost price based on purchase price - AX actually uses latest price on item form (not site specific !)

During manufactured item BOM calculation and production order estimation, we would like to take site specific latest purchase price of purchased components into account.

To do this, AX actually uses latest price on item form (not site specific) …

How site purchase price can be taken into account during production order estimation of purchased components ?

the only solution I see is to calculate cost price of components based on their site purchase price (it works!) and then calculate manufactured items based on component cost price...

The shame is that latest purchase price is not really site specific..

    Hi Olivier,

I do not see directly another solution than the one you provided in your question. Indeed the last purchase price is related to the item and not the site. In your scenario I can imagine that you would like to have this per site. Probably you can add a product suggestion on Micosoft Connect?

Site specific purchase price is not a standard functionality of dynamics AX

I suggest you need to analyse and perform a customization

Please verify and update us if you any support for customization

    Thanks,

I'm afraid it is not a standard functionality....

MS should have made it complete when they added purchased item's cost price calculation...As a result we need to calculate first their cost price based on purchase price.

Manufactured items calculation will be based on cost price of components (instead of purchase price)...this will generate a customization : automatic activation of pended cost price to ensure that component's cost price is really based on latest purchase price....
