Is it possible to post an invoice for a sales order that has no lines? - i.e. a Sales Order that has a Misc. Charge on the Header but nothing on the lines.

If you are trying to charge a customer a misc charge, I would suggest creating a dummy item at zero cost and zero sales price and add that to an order with a misc charge. Then you can post the order and the total will just be the misc charge.

Thanks Bob. We use Misc Charge to charge our customers for delivery. A user here is trying to credit a customer for a delivery charge.
We also use Misc charges to charge for delivery. But when issuing the customer a credit for the delivery, we use a fictious item # we setup for delivery charge credits. We create the sales line for a negative 1 of that item and enter the charge in as the Price each for that line.
