App for Outlook Windows Security Prompt

We had a certificate expire and the App for Outlook sign in changed about the same time.  We used to get one box that said ADFS5 and you can sign in.  Since it broke, users get about 5-10 Windows Security prompts.  It doesn’t do anything if they sign in, just pops up another.  However, if you cancel through all the prompts it eventually lets you use the app. 
We are using D365 on-premise.
