Call a function with VAR parameter

Hi all

I have a function FindServiceHeader (Rec, ServiceHeader).

ServiceHeader is a VAR parameter. 

In another function I need to get the serviceHeader variable as return value from FindServiceHeader.

How can I do it?

    You cannot return a record in a function in NAV. You have to use VAR parameters if you want to return records.

    With VAR the parameter is passed by reference, so the other function can directly access this record as it was returned by the previous function.
