Assembly BOM VS production BOM

I would like to  see the difference between using Assembly BOM or production BOM.
 
If please any one has experience about  this matter.

    There's a significant difference between assembly BOMs and production BOMs in Business Central. Assembly BOMs use the assembly functionality, while production BOMs use the manufacturing module. The manufacturing module requires a premium Business Central license, as opposed to the essential license for assembly functionality.

    The main differences of production BOMs include:


    1. BOM versioning

    2. Support for phantom BOMs or multi-level BOMs

    3. Capacity planning capabilities

    4. Work-in-Progress (WIP) tracking

    5. Scrap management

    6. Ability for items to share BOMs

    7.  Subcontracting support

    Assembly BOMs lack these features, making them more suitable for simpler production processes.
