Hi,
I have designed a report in the Report Designer tool to run essentially a phased TB that shows monthly movements for current financial year (2023) and prior financial year (2022). However while all the numbers pull through for the prior financial year, all the numbers for the current financial year are zero. Even though there is data (when I run a normal trial balance or any other reports in Dynamics 365 there is no issue with pulling the numbers for 2023. What would be the reason for this?
When I click into the nil balances and get to the account/transaction level I can see the transactions, but they don't pull through to the report for some reason. I have noticed this same issue with any other reports that I can run in the Report Designer (and in Financial Reports in D365) for the 2023 financial year
I have done the year-end close/roll forward of the numbers in D365 so I'm not sure what the issue could be?
Hi,
This process will require a SQL authenticated user (not Windows login user in SQL) and dbo rights to the Management Reporter and Management Reporter DM databases.
The link below mentioned how to find an administrator account in Management Reporter, you can check it out.

Here is the part that is returning no values
But I'm not sure why it would be an issue in the Colum Definition, as any other report, even the built in default reports give the same issue
Can you supply a screenshot of your Column definition for this report?
Hi Hana
I am looking into the data mart reset issue but I don't seem to have the required security access to be able to reset the data mart.
This is a bit odd as I have security administrator and system administrator rights in D365. Is there a seperate user role required to have security admin rights in Management Reporter? If so how do I get access?
Hi,
You can define the financial report according to the relevant content about the financial period of the financial report in link1.when defining, please pay attention to the ‘base Year’ filed of the report definition form and the ‘Fiscal Year’ cell in the column definition form.

Or you can try to reset the financial reporting data mart. You may face an issue when you run the financial report and see that the numbers are not reported as you expect. The issue can be related to the financial reporting data mart. Details and precautions can be found in link 2 and link 3.
