Link between Item Ledger Entries of Transfer Shipment and Recepit

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

Hi everybody.

I know that a Posted Trasfer Line is made of "outbound" and "inbound" item ledger entries.

Can I link these two entries? I want to get the outbound entry from the inboud entry.

Thanks

    Hi

it won't be the same document number for shipment and receipt as it uses different numbering series. You should work with Item Application Entry (Table 339) that holds what ILEs were applied to what ILEs. That will help you trace the transfer.

In Item Ledger Entry a movement with type = transfer normally has a e negative value from the starting location and a positive value to the destination location with the same Document No.
