    RE: Guides installation failed

    Hi there,

There is a known issues with customers attempting to install the Guides solution on a CDS environment that was provisioned in any non-English language.

We have identified the root cause of the problem and will be releasing a fix shortly, targeting tonight. I will post an update on this thread once it is available.

    RE: Guides installation failed

    Hey Okano-T5,

So just to confirm you updated all 3 Guides pieces: Hololens, PC Authoring Tool, and CDS/Azure "instance" associated with your profile?

In a previous post on this Guides forum...I have heard there was an issue between the physical location of the Hololens (not based in US) but the D365 Guides "instance" was created as if it was based in the U.S. and this created some conflict.

I did find your "error" code posted in older D365 forums and it appears its related to a conflict loading a related package...which might be related to a language package.

So this is just a "feeling" but lets say you have a language package (i.e. German language package for example) load as it relates to D365 products not even Guides specifically...it might be creating a conflict. I might turn that off and see if i get a different result...if you have something like that. Here is the forum post...that I got this idea from for you to review: community.dynamics.com/.../337918
