    Hi Codehunter,

Can you explain your question? I'm able to delete them from several forms. Do you have an example where you get stuck?

    HI,

Can you share the form name and which table you added? If it is a standard form, you can try to remove the complete object from the layer you are working in.

It indeed seems, like you can't delete a reference data source added to a listpage. This might work:

    - export the form to .xpo,

    - open the .xpo with Editor

    - search for the name of the reference datasource (ctrl + f)

    - delete the part from 'REFERENCEDATASOURCES' to 'ENDREFERENCEDATASOURCES' and the join

    - save the file and import it back to AX

Probably you should make a backup of the xpo before modifying it in case something goes wrong

    Hi Codehunter,

You can try the solution suggested by JE6, but I don't know how you were able to add a reference datasource. This form is based on a datasource created by a query which has multiple datasources. In that case the reference datasources are not active and you can't add new ones.

You can actually drag and drop a table into the reference data sources and then there is no delete option.

This topic is quite old, but I was looking for solution to the same problem, figured out how it can be done and felt obliged to share it.

We can delete reference data sources by comparing layers or using version control. If we take old version before RDS has been added, we can delete it within Comparing Tool.
