Error when exporting data from AX2009

Hi to everybody. I really hope someone can help as this problem is driving me up the wall!

Everytime I try to export data out of Dynamics AX2009, I get the following error message:

Method 'save' in COM object of class 'Excel.Application' returned error code 0x800A03EC (<unknown>) which means: Cannot access read-only document 'RESUME.XLW'.

The export is then cancelled. The version of AX09 is 5.0.1000.52. I have MS Office 2003 installed and I am logged in as a local administrator. Also, I have reinstalled Excel but the error still comes up. Someone else with administrator rights tried it and it worked for them on their PC, so I dont know what else to do now - please help!!!

Naz

Forgot to say before, I am exporting by going to - Administration, Periodic, Excel Spreadsheets, Template Wizard.

    Thanks

Did you check if the file exists on your hard drive? If yes, did you check the file properties to see if its readonly?

Can you create and save file in the output directory without using AX?

Yes, the file is in the following location -

    C:\Documents and Settings\na01\Local Settings\Temp

Also, it is not set to read only. I can create any file and save it to the output directory, so its not a rights issue there either. Im so confused.

This problem does not seem to affect people who are  administrators, as one of them tried it on his PC and it all works fine - however, even though I am a local admin for my PC, I still get this issue. Also, when one of the administrators logged onto my PC to export data, he got two Excel messages, one prompting him to install Excel VBA and the other to install Excel Clipart. After selecting Yes to both, the export worked fine - when I logged on as myself and tried it again it still wasnt working and I was getting the same error message - does this mean I need to install these items onto all the AX09 user PC's?

    Thanks
