I am new to Dynamics SL 2018. I added a new user to the system database (solosys) with administrator role in production, then I restored the solosys database to the development database server. I launched Dynamics SL 2018 from my desktop client and try to connect to the development database and I get the following message. Any idea on how to resolve this? Your help is appreciated. Thanks.
You mention restoring solosys to a development database server. Did you also copy the application database? Did you change the servername field in the solosys..domain table? Finally, did you run the Sync Ownership and Security and Update Views (lower left button) options in Database Maintenance?
Thank you very much for your help!! The Data Maintenance Sync Ownership did the trick.
