We use Dynamics for our CRM and lead/opportunity tracking. We use Teams Premium for our webinars. This means the webinars are set up outside of Dynamics.
The process we go through:
- set up and run webinar through teams
- import the registration list into Dynamics as leads
- BDM then follows up and qualifies the lead which in turn creates the opportunity.
The issues we have:
- existing contacts that register for the webinar are not being imported and not being marked as registered for the webinar
- if the registration has a different company name t what is in our system they are being created as a lead but not able to be linked to existing account
- unable to create a segment for our database which removes or separates contacts that have registered for a webinar
What is the best way to work through this to ensure we are not only covering the new leads but also the existing contacts that have registered for webinars?
