how can I get a smart list of all the vendors?
I've worked in Ms Great Planes and it was easy for me to pull a smart list to see all of the vendors that was ever set up. How can i pull a smart list of vendors in NAV does anyone know?

You can use Rapid Start service, and select Vendors table, and you can export in Excel.

You can get a list of Vendors for sure, but you'll need to translate your connotation of "smart" into which filters you're referring to. In NAV you can go to the Vendors list, if desired filter that list down, and even send this list to excel. You could also dump the entire Vendors table into an Excel spreadsheet pretty easily from Excel connecting back to the database. Anyway, when you say "smart vendors", which ones would you want to include/exclude?
