Which entity can be used to insert Inventory Item Groups using odata

In the AOT I see an entity "DimAttributeInventItemGroup" but that is marked as ReadOnly.

Do I need to duplicate it into my own project and make it ReadOnly "No" or is there a different entity I should be looking at ?

I have the same question (0)

Did you check InventProductGroupEntity if it is not useful then  create duplicate of DimAttributeInventItemGroup in your own project and use it.

May be you are not on latest version . My application is 10.0.8, PU32.You have two options , either upgrade your version or duplicate it in your project and use it.

I am using a local vm development environment. The latest downloads from LCS was 10.0.5.

How do I go about upgrading ?

You can download package from LCS and install it using AXUpdateInstaller.exe .

I upgraded to 10.0.7 PU31 and now see the Public Entity "ProductGroups", but when I try to create one using odata:

"Error executing code: The field with ID '0' does not exist in table 'InventProductGroupEntity'."

Did I miss a step in the upgrade process ?

You can debug the process when you send the request and see whats going on. Are you using standard entity or using your own created by duplicating standard one ?
