Hi,

We have our CRM for about a year now, and I was wondering what integrations have other companies made to enhance their sales process. For example integrations for document signing? maybe with leedfeeder to populate leads automatically. What are your experiences with different integrations?

    Hey John.

It will depend of course on the apps that you're using and what you need them for.
    - Linkedin integration, to get more insights into your contats, but also any other kind of integrator that provides information from your contacts on social media
    - Phone communication:  Either MS Teams or any other dialer to be able to simply call and follow up
    - If you're providing services with documents, indeed some sort of Document Signing integration woudl be helpfull.
    - If you're using sales literature, or you need a repository to store documents, an integration that offers this. Sharepoint integration, or AzureBlobStorage.

    Regards,

    Hi there!

NovelVox CTI connector can easily integrate contact center telephony systems with Dynamics 365 Sales. With this, sales and support teams can handle customer interactions smoothly. The integration offers a lot of features like click-to-dial, screen pop-up, call logging, notes sync, and real time call controls to make workflow efficient.

    Hello John,

It's great you're looking to enhance your sales process with integrations! After a year of using your CRM, you likely have a good understanding of your current workflows and pain points, making it an ideal time to explore integrations.

Here's a breakdown of common and valuable integrations other companies use with Dynamics 365 Sales, along with potential benefits and considerations. My "experiences" are based on the collective knowledge of many companies and implementations I've learned from:

    1. Document Signing (eSignature) Integrations:

    • Examples: DocuSign, Adobe Sign, PandaDoc

    • Benefits:

      • Faster Deal Closure: Reduces the time spent printing, signing, scanning, and emailing documents.
      • Improved Efficiency: Streamlines the contract process, freeing up sales reps for selling.
      • Enhanced Compliance: Provides a secure and auditable record of signed documents.
      • Better Customer Experience: Makes it easier and more convenient for customers to sign agreements.

    • Experiences: These integrations are generally very popular and well-received. They often involve embedding the signing process directly within Dynamics 365, allowing reps to send documents for signature and track their status without leaving the CRM. The key is choosing a provider that aligns with your security requirements and budget.

    •

    2. Lead Enrichment and Intelligence Integrations:

    • Examples: ZoomInfo, Cognism, Lusha, Leadfeeder (as you mentioned), Apollo.io

    • Benefits:

      • Automatic Lead Data Population: Reduces manual data entry and ensures more complete and accurate lead records.
      • Lead Scoring Enhancement: Provides richer data points for more effective lead scoring and prioritization.
      • Identifying New Leads: Tools like Leadfeeder can surface companies visiting your website, allowing sales to proactively reach out.
      • Account Intelligence: Offers insights into companies, their structure, and key contacts.

    • Experiences: These integrations can significantly improve the efficiency of lead management and prospecting. The quality and coverage of data vary between providers, so it's crucial to evaluate them based on your target market. Leadfeeder is particularly useful for identifying warm leads based on website activity, but requires a strategy for timely follow-up.

    •

    3. Marketing Automation Platform Integrations:

    • Examples: HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot, Adobe Marketo Engage, Act-On

    • Benefits:

      • Seamless Lead Flow: Automates the transfer of qualified leads from marketing to sales.
      • Closed-Loop Reporting: Provides visibility into the impact of marketing efforts on sales outcomes.
      • Personalized Engagement: Enables targeted marketing campaigns based on CRM data.
      • Improved Sales and Marketing Alignment: Fosters better collaboration between teams.

    • Experiences: A strong marketing automation integration is often considered essential for maximizing the value of a CRM. The complexity and features vary greatly between platforms, so the choice depends on your marketing strategy and team size. Ensure the integration offers robust synchronization of leads, contacts, activities, and campaign data.

    4. Communication and Collaboration Integrations:

    • Examples: Microsoft Teams, Slack, Zoom, RingCentral, Twilio

    • Benefits:

      • Streamlined Communication: Enables direct communication with contacts and internal teams from within the CRM.
      • Meeting Management: Facilitates scheduling and tracking of meetings and calls.
      • Call Logging and Recording: Automatically logs communication activities for better context.
      • SMS and Messaging Capabilities: Allows for more direct and immediate outreach.

    • Experiences: Integrating communication tools can significantly enhance sales productivity and collaboration. For example, having Teams chats linked to CRM records provides valuable context. The specific tools you integrate will depend on your team's existing communication preferences.

    •

    5. Sales Intelligence and Productivity Tools:

    • Examples: Salesloft, Outreach, Gong, Chorus.ai

    • Benefits:

      • Sales Engagement Automation: Helps reps manage outreach sequences, track engagement, and automate tasks.
      • Conversation Intelligence: Records and analyzes sales calls to provide coaching insights and identify best practices.
      • Improved Forecasting: Provides better visibility into the sales pipeline and helps with more accurate forecasting.

    • Experiences: These tools are particularly beneficial for sales teams focused on high-volume outreach and continuous improvement. They can provide valuable data-driven insights into sales performance.

    •

    6. Finance and Accounting Integrations:

    • Examples: QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite

    • Benefits:

      • Seamless Invoice Generation: Streamlines the process of creating and sending invoices based on sales data.
      • Improved Financial Visibility: Provides a unified view of customer financial interactions.
      • Reduced Errors: Minimizes manual data entry between sales and finance systems.

    • Experiences: Integrating with accounting software can significantly improve the efficiency of the order-to-cash process and reduce discrepancies between sales and finance records.

    •

    7. Customer Service Integrations:

    • Examples: Zendesk, ServiceNow

    • Benefits:

      • Unified Customer View: Provides sales with a complete understanding of customer interactions across all departments.
      • Seamless Handoffs: Facilitates smooth transitions between sales and support teams.
      • Improved Customer Satisfaction: Leads to more consistent and informed customer interactions.

    • Experiences: While you mentioned sales processes, a customer service integration can be crucial for building long-term customer relationships and providing valuable context to sales reps.

    •

    Key Considerations When Choosing Integrations:

    • Your Specific Needs: Identify your biggest pain points and areas for improvement in your sales process.
    • Compatibility: Ensure the integration is officially supported and well-documented for Dynamics 365 Sales.
    • Ease of Use: Choose integrations that are user-friendly for your sales team.
    • Cost: Evaluate the pricing models of the integration solutions.
    • Security and Compliance: Ensure the integration adheres to your organization's security and compliance standards.
    • Scalability: Consider whether the integration can scale as your business grows.
    • Reviews and Testimonials: Research the experiences of other companies using the integration.

    •

    Recommendation:

Start by identifying 1-2 key areas where integration could have the biggest impact on your sales process. For example, if you're struggling with slow contract turnaround, a document signing integration might be a good first step. If lead quality is an issue, exploring lead enrichment tools could be beneficial.

Don't try to integrate everything at once. A phased approach will allow you to learn and optimize as you go.

By carefully considering your needs and evaluating different integration options, you can significantly enhance your Dynamics 365 Sales environment and empower your sales team to be more efficient and effective.

Some of the additional integrations that can help:

Zap Report Scheduling: Easily schedule reports or views to be received in email. Besides you could also have automatic PDF of reports (eg invoice report) be emailed to your customers based on triggers.
Attachment Viewer: Ability to view all attachments for a particular record (eg viewing all case related attachments in form)... with ability to preview / download etc.
Additionaly, ability to manage all email attachments - filter by date / owner etc. You could easily delete email attachments in bulk without need to delete entire email. (this cannot be achieved out-of-box) in dynamics.

Zap Copy/Clone/Duplicate: Easily clone any record and its child records in 1-Click! (eg cloning an opportunity and all its product lines in 1-Click).

Zap Email Parser - Easily create LEADS in dynamics from external websites!

Zap User Adoption Tracker - Track user logins, actions.
Eg number of leads qualified, opportunities won, users who have not logged in past x days, etc

Zap Helpdesk - A full fledged Helpdesk built on top of dynamics 365 for customer service (similar to functionality of popular support apps like Zendesk)

We went through the same stage after about a year on Dynamics 365 Sales, and at first we were also looking at individual integrations (e-sign, enrichment, marketing, etc.). Those are all useful, but what made a bigger difference for us was how everything is connected, not just which tools you plug in.

Instead of stitching each app separately, we added an integration layer (we used Skyvia) to handle data flow between systems. It let us sync leads, contacts, deals, and keep things like status updates and ownership aligned across tools without building custom integrations for each one.

For example, enriched leads were pushed into Dynamics automatically, updates from CRM flowed to other systems, and we avoided a lot of manual fixes and mismatched data. If you’re planning multiple integrations, having that central layer made things much easier to manage and scale.

    Hey John,

Based on my practical experience with companies I can say they mostly wanted

    - Call Center Integration with CRM to see and hear the recorded call recordings.
    - Channel Integration ->
         -  Whatsapp #1 for forwarding and automating messaging and communucating with their customers.
         - Facebook & Instagram #2 for marketing team to have insights and lead capturing and social media planing.
    - Chatbot integration -> Specially for those countries that Azure communucation & Contact center is not supported or they are not using so the customers can make ticktes and requests from it
    - OCR integration -> Specially for Sales Quotes and Sales Invoices so they can summarize it and check every Bills from outlook/teams/sharepoint and put it through an approval process for checking and payment process.
    - eSign integration -> using approval process the documents should be signed and reviewed
    - ERP integration -> Integrating invoices/quotes/orders with their ERP systems like Business Central, NetSuit, SAP or their partners/vendors ERPs.
