How to update option set field?

Hello,

Is it possible to automatically update option set field?

I've created a workflow, which creates a new account when I create a new lead. 

The workflow updates fields from lead to account, but when I want to update option set field (the same as in lead). I have no choice. What can I do?

    Hi partner,

    Looks like we could not update the child records according to parent record in workflow.

    I've also  tried field mapping but also failed.

    I suggest that you could create a custom workflow with C# to assign the value of option set from leads to accounts.

    Hi,

    You can only update the if the optionset si Global optionset and if the same global optionset is used in both the entity. In your case, you will have to use if else block if you still want to update otherwise change the optionset and use a new optionset  with global optionset value in lead & account.
