Hello CS Experts,
I was checking the All Cases view in our CS Hub application. I tried to apply a filter in Customer column by setting it equal to Automotive Trading France. I am wondering why there are four duplicate values that are presented. I tried to use each value but only the second in the list returned results.
Is it possible to merge this list into one value?

There are only two possibilities for such results
1. Duplicate records are present and the filter doesn't have Active/Inactive condition
2. Keep the unique as true in fetchxml
3. Could you please paste the js you are using for this view ?

Please check your lookup view on Case Customer field.
Based on that view, please check if the filter to show only active account is available. If not please add that filter and your work will be done.

Yes, we have four duplicate records here, the records have similar Account name, but differ in some other fields like address, contact, SAP Number etc. 3 of these accounts are already inactive. So why are these inactive accounts still appear in the auto-suggestion when I search for customer field and to filter that same customer field.

Try switching the account view as shown below and then search:

After testing, cases with Inactive accounts will also be filtered out.
Please go to System View "Inactive Account", and check again if there are duplicate accounts.

I checked from Account entity and there is only one active account by that name. This particular account is linked to four contact records.
Please switch to Account entity and check in All account view (if the duplicates are present), possiblity you may have inactive duplicates.
