I'm asking about workflow in d356 f&o, can I send a notification based on time limit, if no action taken by the user (for instance 24hr), then send a notification (email) to his line manager.
I have certain events in notifications panel
also, the escalation panel restricted to reassign the work to another user or someone else.
can I make this notification with setting in workflow or with code?
I dont think its possible. If you dont have it in the setup then you need to develop it.
Another solution, and that is my preferred solution, is to use Power automate combined with a dataverse connection in order to check which workflows are still not approved and where created before 24h. You can also create a business event (development) instead of using a dataverse connection, that checks for open workflows. However, development is always less flexible.
Kind regards, Adis
