How can I get license text file ?

Hi,

Currently, we already have license for our Nav; but I want to find the text file of the license; can you share me the location ? or the way I could extract license text file out of Nav ?

    You need to contact your partner for the detailed permission report to get text file format.

    I'm not sure what do you mean by "license text file" - is it the text of the license or the binary .flf file itself?

    You can go to development environment, select Tools - License information, you will get information about the granules included. You can select it and copy to Notepad as a text. (msdn.microsoft.com/.../hh169385(v=nav.90).aspx)

    There is an option to export license information using Export-NAVServerLicenseInformation Cmdlet in PowerShell:

    msdn.microsoft.com/.../jj672898(v=nav.90).aspx

    There are 3rd party tools: http://www.hougaard.com/export-nav-license-from-sql-server/

    Otherwise, you need to contact your partner to get that file generated.

    You need to contact your Dynamics NAV partner to get the permission report or check on the customersource if the option is available.
