Hi Everyone....
I am installing Ax 2012 R3 in the way that always I have done it. But there is an weird error:

    I've seen this error on SSRS on 2008 and that was caused by a bug (That was why I asked you this). I've also seen this when using unsupported version of SQL Server with AX. But you seem to be using a supported version of SQL Server with AX 2012 R3. Have you made other successful AX installation with this SQL Server before?

    So, what roles are you trying to add when getting this error? Only the DB, or AOS, Client, etc as well?

    Also, have you tried to backup the databases from the other machine you have running and restore them in this new environment, and then install the AOS using these?

    Hi Iulian.

    That is a great solution, and in deed I have done it and it works. The problem is that the databases are in English and the client wants to use the system in Spanish. This error is caused when I try to install DB role. Without the labels, we cannot change the language, because if I change the language without this role, the system shows weird labels such as @sy8383 etc.

    Ah, ok, I see. I guess the error comes from some setting that is particular to this install. Are the two machines identical? Are they VMs cloned from the same source, or build ground up separately?

    They are two VMs builded separately, I mean, Have the same features and the operative system was installed from zero in both cases. Not from an image or something like that.

    The only other reason I can think of your installation would fail is that the installer has an issue getting the model files list. Are you running the installation of a network drive? Can you try to copy to a local folder the installation files already extracted and run from there?

    I have solved the problem. The problem was the antivirus, it seems it was blocking the installation media, because just when I uninstalled it, the process continued normally.
