Hi All,

Getting the below error while running the "Spend by procurement category" report , its data set "DynamicsAXOLAP",

Error : "XML for Analysis parser: The 'Domain\user' value of the 'EffectiveUserName' XML for Analysis property is not valid."

We have performed the below steps :

1 . Restarted analysis services , reporting services and AOS services,

we have given the Analysis server name same as AX server name,

Kindly advise us how to resolve this issue.

Regards,

Akbar

    Hi Akbar,

This error always occurs if Analysis Services extension is not installed on SSAS server or Business Connector proxy account don't have access to SSAS/OLAP database.

You can refer to the following link to add the account to Analysis Services.

    docs.microsoft.com/.../grant-server-admin-rights-to-an-analysis-services-instance

Thanks Ada, We have added proxy account in SSAS database , we are not facing that error now.

We have recently done SQL migration, we have completed all the changes related to SQL server and database in AX which we know but we are not aware of SSAS setting, we have given AX SQL server name in System administration in "Analysis server" settings .

We have deployed from Tools-->Business intelligence tools(BI) -->SQL services analysis services project wizard. Processed from SQL server management studio (SSAS database) ,

while running the "Spend by procurement category" getting the report empty with values in error, please refer the below screen shot :

Kindly advise us how we can resolve this error.

    Regards,

    Akbar
