Hi Everyone,

I am a Senior Program Manager on the IOM team. I wanted to share with you what we are working on landing in the October 2022 release for IOM. Feel free to reach out here or directly at bennettray@microsoft.com if you have any questions or want to give feedback on these features/functionality.

Fulfillment Optimization

  • Order Combination, Delivery Split and Partial Orders
  • Flexible options for fulfillment determination (including a configurable SLA experience)
  • Batch Support

New Order Types

  • Back Orders and Pre Orders
  • Manual Orders (CSR Manual Entry)
  • Purchase Orders
  • Transfer Orders (DC-WH-Store)
  • Exchange Orders
  • Subscription Orders

Inventory Visibility

  • Inventory views across Products / Warehouse
  •  at Sales Order Line with Confirm availability button (at product, warehouse)
  • Inventory Allocation (based on channel)
  • Available to Promise checks (backward scheduling with No 3P Procurement)
  • Multiple data source configuration support

Platform Improvements

  • ALM: UX for migrating policies, rules, and flows
  • Support activating large Provider definitions
  • Ability for an Orchestration Step to be recovered / resumed
  • Support for a State Framework

UX

  • Improving Provider setup wizard experience
  • Improvements in orchestration setup and configuration
  • Improvements in the Site Map

Other

  • Rule based Simulation to compare fulfillment options
  • SLA driven Alerts & Notifications
