Form Capture script not found using Google Tag Manager

Hi all,

I'm trying to set up the form capture for an existing contact form on our website (i have to use the existing one so form capture is my only option).

I've added the <script> code given to me by the form capture wizard and confirmed that GTM is inserting the code into the correct page.

However, the form capture Wizard still gives me the message: The webpage you entered doesn't contain the required tracking script. Before trying again, you'll need to add a script to the webpage.

I have successfully added the website tracking code and can see overall website insights but the form capture code just refuses to work.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to why this won't work?

Hi,

Does it work when it is placed into the code directly and not through GTM?

Hi Defne,

It worked when embedding directly into the code. not sure why GTM doesn't work :(
