Insert Template in UCI

Posted on by 380

Hi Guys,

Since a couple of days, we moved one of our teams to the new interface (UCI).

This is, of course, a Support team since they can evaluate fully the new interface.

What it was reported however is that when you compose a new email, or replying to one, and click on insert template it pops-up a new window.

Here is the problem now.

For a Field, you have two option available:

To Recipient - the email recipient record

Regarding - the email subject

If we select To Recipient, the next window will show us only templated related to Contacts or Users

So in order for our support team to see the correct templated (regarding cases), they need to select Regarding option from the dropdown.

The question is: Can i set by default to select Regarding option when inserting template OR can i include templated for Cases along with the one for Contacts, Users?

If you have any questions please let me know.

Best Regards

Kiril

    Hi,

Can you suggest if there is any process to disable Select Record Pop up Window?

    Thank you:

    Hi Leo,

This is correct, in your case you don't have the option to choose, because you don't have anyone into To or CC fields, but only a Subject.

This is why the system doesn's asking you to select from options.

You can try and see that when have some in TO or CC it will pop-up and ask you to choose.

    Any suggestions?

    Regards

    Hi partner,
In my case, When I clicking "Insert Templates" it will show a pop window directly and skipped the step of "Select record".
So I tried to only fill in the "Regarding" field and keep the "To" field empty and then click "Insert template".
Then I found that the look up list will only show related templates of the "Regarding" field.

    Hope it helps.
