Vendor ledger entries not having dimensions

Dear All,

I am posting a purchase invoice but the dimensions i've picked on lines are not reflecting on vendor ledger entries after posting the purchase invoice.

What can I do? Is it a set up issue or a customization is required?

Do you enter dimensions only on the lines, or do you also enter them in the header? The dimensions on the purchase document header will carry over to the vendor ledger entries.

Dimensions specified on the lines will only transfer to the general ledger entries for the associated GL expense account. So if you want to see the dimensions in the vendor ledger entries then you need to enter them in the purchase document header.

This is a bit strange, are the dimensions already assigned before posting?

Then you can try Preview Posting

If there is a dimension set id, there should be no problem.

If the Dimension Set ID is not generated, I suspect it is caused by some customization. Please uninstall all third-party extensions and try again.

Sorry, I mistook it for Value Entry. The confirmation method for Vendor Ledger Entry is the same.
