Hi Venkat,
Please check the below link-
https://community.dynamics.com/365/talent/f/dynamics-365-for-talent-forum/379577/custom-fields-not-appearing-in-the-export---to-excel-nor-in-the-worker-table
I believe if you follow the steps in the right order as mentioned in the post, you will be able to edit the new custom fields. If otherwise, then please provide some background info on the steps performed and screenshot of the form with the new field.
Good luck!

Hi Venkatdax0,
How did you create custom fields?
Are your steps the same as the steps below?dynamics365.wordpress.com/.../
Hi Samuel,
Could you tell us how you have created them, and on what table / form?
Depending on some setup it could be possible that you can't edit it.. for example:
- if you are using position actions;
- you can't maintain a custom field on the position details... as it's not on the position action form;
- updating then is only possible via 'maintain versions' or excel add-in/DMF;
Looking forward for some details so we can help.
